Specifications

Bearings
Wellington’s ventilation motors are equipped with long life ball bearings and can be mounted in any position. Bearing design life L10 is minimum 40,000 hrs at +60°C (140°F) ambient temperature. For a customized design life calculation, please contact us at info@wdtl.com.

Design Life
45,000 hrs motor design life at +20°C (68°F).

Balancing
All our motors and fans are dynamically balanced, which reduces the load on the bearings.

Power Supply
Wellington’s motors and fans can be operated directly from AC mains supply, or from DC.

Electronic Control Safety Features
The electronic controls of Wellington’s DD series motors are provided with the following safety features for longer motor life and improved reliability.

Locked rotor/stall detection and over current protection switch the motor to standby mode and restart it after 40 mseconds if motor fails to start, if speed is forced outside the preset range or if motor current is twice the nominal value. This software detection protects the motor with a timed algorithm to limit maximum winding temperature.

Thermal protection permanently stops the motor if overtemperature occurs. Software protects the motor from most external conditions that could trigger overtemperature.

Direction of Rotation
Directionof rotation can be either CW SE (standard) or CCW SE (upon request) as seen when facing the motors from Shaft End.

Voltage Range
230V ± 10% for DD motor series. 230V-277V ± 10% for DF motor series.

Protection Class
Class I

Operating Temperature
-25°C to +40°C (-13°F to 104°F). Motors de-rating allows them to operate up to +60°C (140°F). Different operating temperature ranges are available upon request.

Insulation Class
Class F for DD motor series. Class A for DF motor series.

Compliance
EN60335, EN61000 and EN55014..
