For Wellington, sustainability is about delivering business practices and products that benefit all our stakeholders and preserve the environment for future generations.

In order to reduce its environmental impact, Wellington established these goals:

We will comply with applicable legal and regulatory requirements and standard practices
We will develop and market products that use natural resources efficiently
We will establish methods to monitor our environmental performance and use them to assess opportunities for improvement
We will promote communication with our customers, suppliers, employees, governments, business association and other interested stakeholders to develop sustainable solutions and reduce our environmental impact
We will periodically review these environmental goals and update them as needed

For Wellington, like for many of our stakeholders, sustainability brings challenges, but is mainly a great opportunity. Energy saving technologies and renewable energy production have become the focus of consumers, governments, pressure groups, and investors worldwide and, with our technology and experience in energy saving, we are perfectly positioned to grow with the global shift towards sustainability, and contribute to it. We further view sustainability considerations as an opportunity to enhance our product manufacturing and operations, and gain valuable new tools. Environmental responsibility for us is not only the “right thing to do”, but is a real opportunity, that makes financial sense.

In order to reduce our environmental impact, we are currently carrying out Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) analyses that will contribute to improving our environmental performance in the way we design and manufacture products, and we carry out operations. Wellington has also initiated the process to become carbon neutral.

Wellington sieht in der Nachhaltigkeit die Bereitstellung von Geschäftspraktiken und Produkten von denen alle unsere Interessengruppen profitieren, sowie die Erhaltung der Umwelt für künftige Generationen.

Um die Umweltauswirkungen zu verringern hat Wellington diese Ziele gesetzt:

Wir werden den geltenden gesetzlichen und regulatorischen Anforderungen und Standardverfahren nachkommen
Wir werden Produkte entwickeln und vermarkten welche natürliche Ressourcen effizient nutzen
Wir werden Methoden aufstellen, um unsere Umweltperformance zu überwachen und damit Möglichkeiten zur Verbesserung zu finden
Wir werden die Kommunikation mit unseren Kunden, Lieferanten, Arbeitnehmern, Regierungen, Unternehmerverbänden und anderen Interessenvertretern fördern, um nachhaltige Lösungen zu entwickeln und unsere Umweltauswirkungen zu verringern.
Wir werden diese Umweltziele in regelmäßigen Abständen überprüft und bei Bedarf aktualisieren

Für Wellington, wie für viele unserer Interessenvertreter, bringt Nachhaltigkeit Herausforderungen und große Möglichkeiten. Energie sparende Technologien und die Erzeugung von erneuerbarer Energie sind weltweit in den Mittelpunkt der Verbraucher, Regierungen, Interessengruppen und Investoren gerückt. Wir sind optimal positioniert um mit dem globalen Wandel in Richtung Nachhaltigkeit zu wachsen und dazu beizutragen. Wir sehen Nachhaltigkeit als eine Gelegenheit unseren Produktionsbetrieb und die damit verbundenen Arbeitsabläufe zu verbessern. Ökologische Verantwortung heißt für uns nicht nur "das Richtige zu tun", sondern eine echte Chance die finanziellen Sinn macht.

Um unsere Auswirkungen auf die Umwelt zu reduzieren führen wir derzeitig Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) Analysen durch, die zur Verbesserung unserer Umweltleistungen beitragen in den Bereichen Entwicklung, Produktherstellung und Arbeitsablauf. Wellington hat ebenfalls den Prozess eingeleitet Klimaneutral zu werden.

Para Wellington, a sustentabilidade consiste em apresentar as práticas de negócios e produtos que beneficiam todos os nossos parceiros e preservam o meio ambiente para as gerações futuras.

Para Wellington, como para os interessados em nosso desempenho, sustentabilidade traz desafios, mas é sobretudo uma grande oportunidade. Tecnologias de baixo consumo energético e produção de energias renováveis tornaram-se o foco dos consumidores, governos, grupos de pressão, e investidores no mundo inteiro e com nossa tecnologia e experiência em economia de energia, estamos perfeitamente posicionados para crescer com a mudança global para a sustentabilidade, e contribuir para isto. Nós ainda vemos as considerações de sustentabilidade como uma oportunidade para melhorar a nossa fabricação de produtos e operações, acrescentando novas ferramentas valiosas. A fim de reduzir nosso impacto ambiental, estamos realizando atualmente uma análise de Avaliação do ciclo de vida (LCA Life Cycle Assessment) que contribuirão para melhorar o nosso desempenho ambiental na forma de como concebemos e fabricamos produtos e realizamos operações. A Wellington também iniciou o processo para se tornar carbono neutro.

Con nuestra experiencia y tecnología de bajo consumo, nos encontramos en una posición perfecta para crecer y contribuir con el movimiento global hacia la sustentabilidad. De mismo modo, las consideraciones para lograr sustentabilidad son una oportunidad para avanzar en procedimientos de operación y fabricación de nuestros, y de esta manera alcanzar nuevos instrumentos de mejoramiento. Para reducir el impacto ambiental en Wellington llevamos a cabo un análisis de Evaluación de Ciclo de Vida que contribuirán a mejorar nuestro rendimiento en la manera que diseñamos y fabricamos nuestros productos al igual que nuestras operaciones.
